New Client Reservations
A complimentary consultation (Meet & Greet) is required at least three days before any pet sitting service begins. This 30-45 minute meeting will take place at the client’s home. An email will be sent to confirm the scheduled appointment with an attachment containing a Service Agreement. Clients are asked to review the information and fill out the forms as thoroughly as possible before our consultation. An emergency contact person must be provided. A house key will be collected and tested at the Meet & Greet. Key pickup fee is $25 if not available at the time of consultation.
Existing Client Reservations
Requests are taken on a first-come, first-served basis by email, phone, or by scheduling online. We will do our best to accommodate clients if we are available. There is no charge for late bookings for current clients.
Visiting Hours
Pet sitting services are generally scheduled from 7am to 7pm in the following time blocks:
Minimum Visits Per Day
For clients away for 24 hours or more, cats must be visited at least once a day. We do not offer every other day visits.
Ready Key Service
As your professional pet sitters, we can always be ready for service with your house key on file. Keys are securely stored and are not labeled with names or addresses. If you prefer, we can pick up/drop off your key for each pet sitting service for an additional charge of $25 per trip.
Payment Terms
Payment is due in full on or before the first day of service. Late fees will apply if necessary. We accept credit cards, cash, or checks made payable to Lulu & Co. Pet Sitting Services. A service charge of $20 will be billed for returned checks.
Holiday Surcharge
A surcharge of $5 PER VISIT will be added on Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (PM only), Christmas Day, New Year's Eve (PM only), and New Year's Day.
Cancellations
Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel services for any reason. We understand that life happens and your plans may change, so we do not charge a cancellation fee with adequate notice. However, since we do not overbook and may have turned away other clients, the following cancellation policies are in effect (emergencies/special circumstances will be considered):
Confirming Your Return
If traveling, clients are asked to contact us by phone, text, or email when you have safely returned home to your pets that have been in our care. If we have not heard from you, we will try to reach you and will return to your home if necessary to check on your pets. The appropriate visit rate will apply.
